Paula:
Gus was a big part of our neighborhood and youth growing up on the "Hill".
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I know he's making many laugh "upstairs."

Mr. Schermerhorn will be deeply missed at Rite Aid 1561. He was always a bright and shining part of our day. All the best to his family with our sympathy.

Hi Paula ~
Just wanted to say I'm sorry for the loss and thinking of you - an old friend from Sam Hospital days.....

Paula, Scott, Jessica and Brandon,

My heart felt sympathies go out to all of you. I have been reflecting back on the past 28 years when I first met Bob in the train shop on route four. It has been a great friendship throughout the years. Cape Cod, trips to the various train shops, long phone calls, adventures and let's not forget those Tuesday nights. Bob had seen the best and the worst of us and never once did he judge. That's what you call a true blue friend. As Davey said...

I knew only Robert, the adolescent boy. He was fun loving, spontaneous and loyal. Condolences to his loved ones.

To the family of Robert Schermerhorn,
Robert was my best friend and I loved him like a brother. As long as I live, I will never forget Robert and all the good times we had. Robert and I shared a great love for animals. He was a kind and generous person. I hope there's a place in Heaven for Robert.
