Not sure what to say?

Dear Linda,

Sorry for your loss. I'm sure you remember Ira, Bob and myself playing ball together. It's hard to believe it is 50 years since we last saw each other. I did go to our reunion. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sincerely,

Shelley

Eulogy for my Father Robert Schild

Born 11/27/39 my father started into this world with tough days in front of him. He started work at the age of 10 to help support his Mother Bertha and himself and until my Grandmother remarried to another Bob. M y father had it Rough for several reasons but My Dad was there for me always growing up. He was one of the only fathers that coached my little league after working all day long in nyc then taking the bus home and he would still make my...

My grandpa went through more then anyone I know and became very strong. As much as he hated being in the nursing home, he always made sure me and my family left with a big smile on our faces.

One of the hardest things I had to do in my life was seeing him suffer but now that I know he is in a better place, I am relieved more then ever.

Now I know he is watching over me constantly to make sure I am safe and happy at all times.

No matter the hard times we all went...

No matter what path in life we choose your family will always be there in the end. I believe that now more then ever. Grandpa if you could only see the people who came to pay their respects to you- you'd be so happy. I know your sitting up in heaven with your pipes and cigars and a box of entimmans chocolate chip cookies...like you used to bring me all the time. You taught me so much about willpower and forgiveness...at a young age I was exposed to everything and it made me who I am today....

Bob, We shared many happy times together throughout the years and many laughs and tears thru lifes peaks and valleys that we all go thru in life.I have to say that not many son in laws shared lots of great times together with thier father in law as we have. You were very generous and allways had a good sense of humor.I also understood and respected your wishes in the last 5 years.I know you will rest in peace with all your loved ones and one day we shall meet again. Love,Joe
