Dearest Schmidts:
I was so sad to hear the news. I think you know how special both Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Bobby were to me - I know they had lots of godchildren but I was always THE Godbaby! I am truly grateful that they were such a special part of my life and I will treasure every memory I have of them and our time with your wonderful family. My love to all of you.

The patriarch has passed on... closing a chapter of a phenomenal family. But the book has not ended, let us keep our traditions and strong family ties as he would like them to be. We have a great example to follow. Cousins Larry, Shelly, Keith, Stewart, and Lisa....I love you and will see you in December. Cousin David

Dear Schmidt Family:
You don't know me but my family was neighbors of Mr. Schmidt's brother, Clifford, when they lived on Rosewood Drive in Metairie years ago. I use to play with Richard, Clifford and Suzanne when we were little. Very nice family. I just want to offer my condolences to your family on the loss of your loved one.
