Not sure what to say?

Bob was my first cousin, although there was such a great difference in our ages so we did not see much of each other. the last visit was several years ago when my sister and I visited him In his home. we did exchange Christmas cards. we are proud to have been a part of his extended family! Rosalee Schmidt Roloff, Clintonville

Kay - I so wish I could have joined you this week to say good-bye to your dad. Know my prayers and love surround you at this difficult time. I am so glad I got to see Bob in September when I came to Wisconsin for our high school reunion. He was - as always - his genuine, wonderful smiling self. Many, many memories of the farm and the cottage. Good memories passed along to our families. Your parents were always welcoming and generous. Mary and Bob will not be forgotten. Love, Donalda

Bob and the Schmidt family were always not only neighbors but true friends, Bob was an insperation too us all. REST IN PEACE BOB!!!!

The obit. caught the essence of Bob perfectly, a humble man of character. My family spent many happy days at the cottage on the chain and hunting for pheasant on the farm. Mary was my mom's best friend and Bob and Dad spent a lot of time together. Bob made it to both of my parents' memorials as well as my brother, Spence's, even though it was obvious it was difficult for him to get around (Thanks, Sarah!) He will be missed!

So proud to have known Grandpa Bob. His life should be an example to us all. Always a kind word and a caring heart.

Spent summers during grade school working for Bob planting pine trees, painting the barn and sheds, etc. He was a great man and and was an inspiration to me. I'm sure, Kay and Sarah, that you will miss him dearly as will all of us that knew him. Wish We could be there with you at this time of sorrow.

We had some great times growing up next door. Sure miss those days. Your parents were very special to us Baumann kids. Just like having another set of parents. Our prayers are with you.
Love,
Kevin and Dina Lillge

All we have at times like these are family, friends and our memories. May those fond memories comfort you and help ease your loss. Your family has our deepest sympathy.
