Robert Schwartz

Bob and I were in the same Class of '50 at Rice, and both EEs. I'd just written up his Schwartz Gazebo honors for public service for the Rice Owlmanac publication, when I was forwarded his obituary. What a shock, after recently contacting him by email for the first time in years. Bob was a special guy, and a exceptional engineer, and was a close friend as we were struggling through Rice (me, not Bob!). May he rest in peace. He earned it.
