Dr. Robert Mabry Scoville M.D.

Most respectfully, he was all that others have acknowledged and described. He was also a treasured family patriarch within our Scoville family. He never missed an opportunity to attend reunions/weddings/special occasions of the generations that followed his own.... God Bless you our dear Robert Scoville. This is a terrible loss for the community. Dr. Scoville was one of the best Orthopedic surgeons Rock Hill had ever had. He was my Dr. and gave me a hip replacement in 1988. It is still in good shape today. He will be missed by our family.

Having grown up in Barnwell and at Edisto the Queen and Scoville families have a long and cherished history. We just had a great visit with Robert on New Year Day. He will be greatly missed. May you find comfort in your memories of this wonderful man.

The residents and property owners in Middleton on Edisto Island and I are so very sad to hear of our friend and neighbor's passing. Robert was an engaging conversationalist, a talented surgeon, and a wise soul. He was one of the most admirable physicians and unforgettable people I have ever known. Those of us who knew him as a patient, or colleague, or friend were all fortunate to have crossed his path.
