Not sure what to say?

Bob was a gentleman and leader. I will forever remember his advise and his "sleeping bag close".

Just learned of Scriv's passing. A true friend, mentor and one who knew how to put things in a real life perspective. Hope I am notified of the service time and place.

While working at Standard Insurance through the temps years ago Bob Scrivner was always a bright spot! He'd come into the office in the morning...I'd say hi and how are you? "Just terrible, thank you!" was always his humorous answer. It got a laugh out of us as it was actually the way a lot of us felt! He was a joy to work with.

Hi, I was born and raised as bob was in Heppner.I introduced him to his second Wife Evie Georgeson, which he adored, It was very hard on him when she passed away. I have tried to stay in touch with him, but couldn't. Please let me know when the Menorial is.I would be very sad to miss it.

I worked with Bob Scrivner at Standard Insurance Company for many years. Many of my favorite Standard stories involve Bob and his cynical wit and his unique view of life. He was certainly one of a kind!

My father, John Crawford, was good friends with Bob. They grew up together in Heppner. I remember fun evenings at the Scrivner home when I would tag along with my parents for dinner. Bob and his family were always very welcoming, and Diane was great about hanging out with me, even though I was four years younger.
I'm sorry to hear of Bob's passing.

I will sincerely miss such a true friend as Bob Scrivner. He was one in a million and one of outstanding integrity.

I was friends with his daughter Diane and have many happy memories of hitching a ride home from downtown with him.I think Diane played sax because her Dad loved jazz,or as she always said inside her dad was a wild and crazy guy. Donna (Troudt) Hartley.

Although we lost touch over the last 30 years, I have often thought back to our long friendship as fellow employees of the Standard Insurance Company. I do regret out parting as friends.
