Not sure what to say?

Jane and I worked together for DallasISD. Blessings to the family.

My thoughts are with you, Jane.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. Like Bob Morgan he was my first mentor and taught me so much about theory, trombone and piano that gave me a step up in the music world. I don't think I could have had a more understanding, patient, and devoted teacher. RIP Bob Seibert.

In the '60s, I wrote an original big band chart called "T-Bones," which was subsequently published by Bob's company, KSM. A few years ago, I had an occasion to revise/update the chart, and I would like to mention that this new version is "Dedicated to Bob Seibert." (premiered by the Louisiana All-State high school Jazz Ensemble)

I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I was out of town, or would have been at the service. Like Bubba and Steve, Mr. Seibert was my very first musical mentor, when I was a student at Greiner. I didn't realize at the time how life-changing his instruction was, but, certainly realized it later, and have shared his name w. many people around the country. I'm so glad that me and a few of my high school friends, including Steve, got to have a lengthy, meaningful visit w. Bob a few years...

I will always be grateful for the many valuable contributions Bob gave to Oak Cliff Presbyterian during my ministry. Bob was a constant source of blessing in every part of the life of his church in which he was involved and he was interested and involved in just about everything. It was a privilege to know him. My thoughts and love to Jane, a wonderful lady, and all of the family.

Sandy

Jane and family, we are sorry for all of our loss but I know he's now playing in the greatest band of all.

Jane, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. You and Bob have been such good friends and such a vital part of our church. Bob will be missed by many. Now he sings in heaven's choir. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.
Love, Deloris Curtis.

Bob certainly leaves an impressive legacy as mentor, teacher and a highly respected professional musician/ businessman. To those of us, like Bubba, who were fortunate to work with him during our high school and college years, Bob was the one who "started us out" toward successful careers in performance, teaching and professional music production. The summer band school at Greiner, Teen Tunes rehearsals at Brook Mayes, recording sessions at CRC, vocal sessions at Sellers, stage band festivals...
