Father Sharp was an inspiration to me. I was a teenager and attended St. Raphael's. He was a father and attorney so he must have been very busy. But he devoted countless hours to serving the church. A wonderful human being!

I met Father Sharp while he was at St. Raphael's in Tonganoxie. He introduced me to the Episcopal faith and as a sophomore in high school I was confirmed after attending his confirmation classes. He made a great impression on me and I have special memories of those days at St Raphael's. That was the foundation for my faith and beliefs I have today. Kay Emery Soetaert
