Not sure what to say?

I was a poor kid growing up near the factories in Hamilton Ontario. Somehow at the age of 11, we became friends. I am 47 years old now and I still think of him from time to time. He showed me that there was more to life than being a delinquent. Part of my journey intersected with his and the importance of which I cannot completely appreciate. Who I am today has been effected by this man.

I was sad to hear of Bob's passing. Although It has been years since Bob and I played and coached together. I have always remembered and valued his friendship. My deepest sympathy.

Thank you Coach Shaw for all of the memories playing football for you at Otterbein. You took the extra time to reach out and offer guidance, and enstill lifelong lessons. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
