Robert E. Shaw Sr.

The day I first met Senior, in the summer of 1997, in the break room at Allied VanLines, I nearly resigned without putting in an hour of work. I would never had thought I had just met one of my best friends that I would keep close to me for over 20 years.

Through his rough and gruff outer shell Sr. had all the right qualities to be a good friend to me. The man had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. He was a true inspiration to me.

I am grateful for his impact...

It was my great privilege to have Bob about 5 or 6 years ago at The Oaks at SouhtPaw Farms. Bob, Ron, April, and I began a lifelong friendship that day.

It gives me great peace to know that God made peace with his Creator and was prepared for eternal life.

To my dear friend Bob....I miss you so much already. You were a wonderful driver for the flower shop and the best dinner companion on those 'dates' we used to go on. I am so happy that we kept our friendship alive even after you left the flower shop. Wait for me in heaven....it was your turn to buy dinner!

We will miss a dear dear friend and mentor to my sons. Sr. was an awesome Christian with more faith then many. He made every day his best and was not fearful of his next journey with his God. Rest In Peace dear one.
