Not sure what to say?

Since having heard from Bill Boyd of Bobby's passing I have shared many high school memories of Bobby with my wife Kathleen. When Bobby came down the hall, entered a room, joined a group it was like a bright candle adding joy and light. I understand why so many of our WMCHS ladies loved that incredible smile and personality. He was equally popular with everyone who knew him. That special candle hasn't gone out...it is just glowing with friends and family in the hereafter. We extend our...

Connie and I extend our deepest sympathies to Pat, Bea and Jim. Bobby meant a lot to both of us and our lives are richer for having known him. I first met Bobby in a bowling alley when we were about 10 years old and that began a life long relationship of being kids, team mates, college roomates and just good friends. Bobby will be missed by all who knew him. He was truly one of the good guys.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the Sheetz family. Thirty plus years ago I felt Independence's loss was Dallas's gain and today the Sheetz family, Independence, Dallas and our loss is God's gain.

Bob was one of my best friends and teammates for many a year. We had a lot of great memories from high school and playing baseball together. I will truly miss him. My sympathy to the Sheetz family.

I was terribly saddened to hear of Bobby's death. I have so many wonderful memories of our high school years. He was always a part of our lives, as he was Mike's best friend.

Bobby was the guy that all the girls wanted to date--good looking and a great athlete. But more than that, he was truly a good person. This world has too few really good people, and I am so sorry that we have lost one of them. My prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

I have great memories of Bobby. From cutting up his frog for him in biology to the infamous frat party date his first year at MU, we've had some great times and joked about it for 40 years. I'll miss him terribly. He was a class act and a sweeter person you would never find. God speed Bobby.

My condolences to the Sheetz family. It was a privalege to have had him as a teammate all through high school. Bob will always live in our hearts.

I am always saddened to hear that another of my classmates has passed but sadder that it was Bobby this time.. what a great guy! He was always so polite & had a great attitude toward life, even at a very young age. Bobby was the most handsome of all in his letter jacket, standing there in the front hall, where we all hung out before school started. It is with a heavy heart that I send my deepest condolences to his wife & mother.

We are all fotunate to have known Bob, and I am proud to have been his friend. He was a wonderful person with an incredible gift. All who knew him will miss him greatly. My sympathy to his family.
