Not sure what to say?

To the Sheffield Family,

We were so saddened to hear of Mr. Sheffield's passing. We did not know him very well, but he has been so kind to Megan during her time as Miss Chesterfield County Fair. He will be missed by all who knew him. May God bless your family and guide you through this difficult time.

I was so suprised when I heard about Rob and his ordeal with Cancer. When we were in Las Vegas at IAFE, and again in Portsmouth at VAF, he seemed to be looking forward to creating the 2010 fair. I know he and Bobby had talked and worked out many details.

As a past President of VAF, and a past manager of the Isle of Wight County Fair, I appreciate the maginitude of the job that he did, and the contribution that he made to Chesterfield County, and the Fair industry in...

Betty; I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with you and Rob woriking at the fair. His expertise will surely be missed.

Betty, Michael, and grandsons, my sincere condolences to you and other family members at this sad time. As neighbors during our young life in Hallsboro, we have cherished memories of those wonderful years growing up together. Robbie was a fine and caring person. He will be missed, but memories are forever.

Betty, Mike, and family,
Our thoughts and prayers with you all. Since Va Tech Rob has been like my second Dad, and I will cherish all the many memories. He was a great father, grandfather and gentleman. We will miss him.

Betty and Michael,
I can't think of the words right now that will best express the love I have for Rob "Daddy Sheffield". As my Sunday School teacher and 4-H leader, Rob truly had a great impact on my life. I have many wonderful memories of time spent with him and with your whole family - the multiple State Fair trips and our vacation at Myrtle Beach are just two of them. Thank you for sharing him with me. My heart goes out to you at this time. My family is praying for your family.

Betty, I have enjoyed working with Rob at the fair and the board meetings. He was such a good person. Rob is truly going to be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and I am here should you need anything.

Betty,
We are so sorry to hear of Robby's passing. He was a wonderful person and we will miss his smile and his comfort to our family especially this past year. Please know that you are in our prayers and my your heart soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together
Love, Joanne Hawkes Green and family

"Sorry for your loss Betty. As you and everyone knew Rob was such a good man, a blessing to all he came in contact with. We both shared the love of Rockfishing and shared fishing stories. We all know where he is now. God Bless"
