Robert Charles Sheline

The legend of the ole Sheliney will live on!!! I got 1 or 2 in the 5th or 6th grade at the original Longfellow school back in the 70's. After getting the Sheliney, you straightened up immediately! I earned every one I got! FYI, for people not knowing what that was, it was a tug of the hair at the back of your neckline that grabbed your attention immediately! The Sheliney has served me well when raising my children when they acted up in public! I have shared this technique with many parents...

Thoughts, prayers and condolences to all. Mr. Sheline was my 5th grade physical education and reading teacher at DeVeaux during the1973-74 school year. He definitely spread the joy of learning to each student. His encouragement left a lasting impact on my life. RIP Mr. Sheline.

I had Mr. Sheline in 5th. grade at Oakdale School. He was my favorite teacher all through grade school. His teaching made it a joy to attend school everyday. I only wish I would have seen him in my adult years. RIP Mr. Sheline. You've lived an active life, and you will be missed terribly by all who knew you.

There will never be another like you Bob. You are loved by so many children, family and friends. The best father any child could ever pray for. You were my father's very best friends and he loved you. So many great times. I will miss you eternally Robert. You brought joy and love and help to so many and made this world a better place for so many.
