Not sure what to say?

My memories of Bob go back to Maple Glen and hearing about him at Eagle Lodge, back in the day. Personable as the day was long and just as talented as he was personable. I've gone back to reread some of our correspondence and his books since he left too early.

A renowned player and teacher in golf... a talented writer... an engaging and incredibly knowledgeable speaker, a presence in the Philadelphia Section, a friend. May you rediscover Pinetown exactly as you remember it.

I am stunned to hear about Bob. Shared many great times with he and Diane. He is a local golf icon. Will miss his great stories and laugh. Our Condolences to Diane and family. R.I.P. Shep. Tony and Rosemary

I’m unsure when my meeting with Bob occurred. I would practice golf at Five Pond golf course in the 1990’s 2000’s in Warminster PA & Bob had a legion of golf students there. Mostly female group lessons. I remember him as the “Mayor of Five Ponds” . He was always lighthearted, gracious & engaging with those on the practice tee. His style with his golf students was always positive & that of encouragement. Fast forward to 2015 I became a neighbor & friend of Bob. I feel fortunate to have been a...

One of the people in my life that I truly admired, respected and I owe some of the best times of my life to the things that Bob shared and taught me. I will miss his smile and stories.

I was in Bob’s class at Upper Dublin HS; we recently had our 50th class reunion. It was great to reconnect with Bob there. I’ll always remember Bob smiling; he was a great person who I was proud to call “friend”. RIP, Bob

Shep was my very first golf instructor. He made me laugh every time I would be around him. I'm so glad I got to know Bob. My condolences to his family.

I worked for this amazing man 30 years ago and still remember him as if it was yesterday. His boisterous personality and congenial disposition was like no other. He was a great man that will continue to live in my memories!! Hit them straight Shep!!
