Robert James "Bob" Shewbert

Coach Shewbert taught me chemistry., and how to wrestle. I wasn't very good, but he encouraged me nevertheless. One of Grant High School's all-time-greats.

Bob was my Wrestling Coach at Grant High School. What a great guy. I'll miss him.My thoughts and Prayers are with Bob and his family.

Mr. Shewbert was a fine teacher, a superb coach, a great guy and a "gung ho" submarine sailor (that's Navy talk from a six year U.S. Navy veteran brother of a "tin can" (a U.S. Navy Destroyer) home ported out of San Pedro, Cal. during the Vietnam War. God bless you on your next assignment Coach and God Bless your family at this difficult time.

A wonderful amazing teacher. He helped the direction of so many of us at Grant high. A life WELL LIVED!
