Not sure what to say?

My pleasure in meeting Lt. Robert Shore occurred in August 1969 where he and I were engaged in literally hundreds of air-to-ground battles in South Vietnam. Lt. Shore was surely one of best combat Huey Helicopter pilots in the Navy.....I have no doubt I would have met my maker long ago if it were not for flying skills of Lt Shore. May his memory and spirit live on forever more....my heart is truly saddened to learn of the death of this truly dedicated and humble patriot. Don Stedman

I met the a one Lt. Shore on an LST ship off the coast of the furthest southern tip of Vietnam at a location referred to as Nam Cam. Long ago Lt. Shore and myself were assigned to Det 1 of HAL-3. Martha,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today at Arlington. I feel unfortunate in that I did not know Bob, but by knowing you I am very certain he was a wonderful human being who leaves a legacy of family and friends.
Fondly,
Beth Toone

When I think of Bob, I think of a gentle giant. My chief memory of him involves our annual camping trip; coming over to Martha and Bob's site and eating breakfast with them. Sorry for your loss Martha, Jiffy and Stacy.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Bob Shore was a great Seawolf Pilot Thanks for bringing your crew home. You will not be forgotten. Left clear, tail clearOB1
