Robert Louis Short

Louis was a dear friend for many years. I served on the FMCA board with him for eight years and treasured the evenings after the meetings when we would have dinner, talk and usually play cards. He was always a first class gentlemen and someone you were proud to call a friend. My condolences to his family. I know you will miss him.

I am saddened at the loss of Mr. Short as I remember him well from the Lane Company days. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I was Secretary to Mr. Short at Lane for many years. I found him to be a wonderful person to work for. He was always very caring and easy to talk to. I will miss him.

Louis was such an inspiration to all of us at Lane. You can never replace a person with the leadership qualities Louis exhibited.
