Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences on the loss of one of our great orthopedic surgeons, Robert Siffert. We were colleagues, both being of similar age, chief of two of NYC finest academic programs, and members of many orthopedic societies His loss will be greatly felt by all. Philip D Wilson, Jr. MD

I had the pleasure of being one of the hundreds of Orthopaedic Surgeons that he helped to train. He was truly a giant in the field of training and leadership. What he taught could not be put into writing. He inspired one to be prepared and always to pursue excellence .

It was my privilege to share 35 years of clinical practice and close association with Bob. In his later years he required a wheelchair for travel and a walker to get around. His mind remained sharp and clear. He enjoyed the cultural activities of New York and never missed the Mount Sinai Orthopaedic department Christmas parties or Resident Graduation events.

In addition to the countless lives he touched as patients, Bob was a role model and inspiration for generations of physicians and health care professionals...with many more to come. His deeds and memories will serve us all as a blessing.

My sympathy and condolences to the family. He was my doctor when I broke my leg in 1968 and a family friend before and after. He was a warm and gentle man, who gave much to his friends and family.

I will celebrate your special life of loving contributions to all mankind... With gratitude for the professional care for my family.
My deepest sympathy is with the entire family.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mr Siffert but after reading his obituary and some of the entries in the guest book I was compelled to offer my most deepest and sincerest sympathies to his families and friends. Mr. Siffert was a well loved man. May the God of tender mercies and all comfort take notice of your grief and give you the inner peace you need.

As you celebrate a life well lived, find comfort in prayers, and the love and support of family and friends

I am so sorry for the family's loss. May you have peace through prayer during this difficult time. Philipians 4:6,7
