Not sure what to say?

Can't believe it's been 9 years. I still play Bob's CD when I'm working in my studio. Best to the family and especially Maggie.

I didn´t realize how cool you were until you were gone. I have a lot of great memories with you during my childhood. You were always so funny and quick witted. I remember you teaching music at my elementary school. You sure are missed Grampa, I hope to be as cool as you were.

This wonderful man was my flute teacher during the early-mid sixties until we moved to Taiwan. He then sent me reel to reel tapes with lessons and plenty of books. He inspired me for a life time. Several years ago, I was able to find him and talk to him after nearly forty years. I taught flute for 30 years and I looked at every student through his eyes. Mr. Silberstein, I will love and keep you in my heart forever. You are my Mr. Holland's Opus.

Bob always lent a helping hand to those in need. His humor, warmth, and kindness will be greatly missed.

I ditto everything that others have said here about Bob. He was also the nicest guy one could ever hope to work with! I loved his sense of humor, his kind and gentle nature, and his musicianship. My sincere sympathy to Maggie and all the family.

My condolences to Maggie and all of Bob's large family. He was a gentle, artistic, and kind man and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob always sought me out at our family reunions, I enjoyed our many talks about music, family and his many adventures. The nicest guy you could ever hope to meet, A great loss to our family.

Goodbye, Bob. Your sweet smile, gentle humor, and wonderful music will be missed.

What a good friend, I will miss Bob! Loved his music!
