We were saddened to learn of Alex's passing.Regretfully, we have not seen him in quite some time.However for a twenty year peroid we were country neighbours and in a way community activists.We have some great memories of thoughtful discussions and projects we worked on together.
We shall store away our memories and trust you will do the same. We wanted you to know we were thinking about you in this time of great family loss.

Dear Sim family,

I was very saddened to hear of Alex's passing.

We became friends in the 1960's when he did some excellent community development work in my home province of Prince Edward Island.
At that time I was serving as a United Church minister and working closely with the RC priest, Gerald Steele. Alex was most helpful with lots of practical insight into our community work in western PEI.
