Not sure what to say?

Seeing the photo of Bob reading Cheese Deluxe at Island Books, MI reminded me of what a great orator he was. My husband and I had seen August: Osage County put on by the Seattle Rep. In talking with Bob - he played the father who shows up at the end of this tragicomedy play that won a Pulitzer Prize for drama in 2008. We both laughingly agreed the play sticks with one. He was such a talent - and a great broadcast journalist and commentator at KING-5. A gift to the northwest in so many...

Bob was one of my favorite Barbershoppers. He was fun to be around and always full of wisdom. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please allow the fondest memories shared with your loved one be a soothing blanket over your heart. May God words of comfort found in Mathew 11:28 help you through this difficult time. ~MM~

Wise, well-read, erudite and
gentlemanly. One of the shining examples of KING TV's ability to make the best hires back in the day.

Bob and I seemed to be on the same time schedule at the YMCA Gym. I kept noticing this guy with a familiar face that I couldn't quite place so I finally asked him who he was and why he was familiar. After a few minutes of back and forth it hit me, he did editorials for KING 5 News. So when we met on subsequent trips, we shared a few views. While we were from opposite political polls, I found him to be a person I enjoyed talking to. Fair winds old friend.

A wonderful friend and boon companion who is greatly missed.
