Not sure what to say?

Dear Cynthia,I worked with Bob for three years and I Rwanda you to know that, as well as respecting him professionally, I loved him like a brother. When our professional paths diverged, I missed our interactions, especially our discussions about our Faith. I will pray for him and you, his family. Please know that I feel blessed to have known Bob. I think of him often and smile...His friend,Michael Reilly

I am absolutely heartbroken to hear this news so late. Bob was great to Sheila and I when we were neighbors in Natick. I miss our conversations about work, life, and family. Truly a wonderful man who I'm glad I met. God bless you Bob. Rest in peace.

-Tom & Sheila Leacu

Bob was a great neighbor on Adams Ave. in West Newton. I also enjoyed talking to him at Babson College. I was an undergrad and he was working on his MBA. My condolences to the entire Simonelli family.

Our world will miss Bob's high energy and passion. He would blow your mind with some of his ideas and then he's flash a glint in his eye along with a smile and you immediately knew that you've been had. I was amazed how he was able to juggle so many projects (both business and family) and yet he always put his family first in his thoughts. From the first day I met him, he lovingly spoke of his wife, Corinne, and his two Children - Amanda and Michael.

So long old friend.

Bob...

Bob was my mentor when he brought me into the tape world. I learned so much from him and enjoyed working with him and also becoming friends. We both enjoyed sharing our stories on watching our kids grow. He was greatly admired by those who knew him both personally and professionally. I for one am grateful to have known him and am now sorry that we lost touch over the last few years and didn't keep up like we were doing after we left Sun.

Bob was a great friend, a tireless worker, an awesome family man, and a great person. Bob made the world a better place and I looked forward to every conversation I had with him. The energy and excitement he brought to his job was infectious and everybody liked him. I always felt that I should be working for him instead of the other way around. Condolences to his family and friends. We have lost one of the good guys. John Jennings

It is with a very heavy heart I write this tribute for my good friend Bob. I met Bob when he started with Sun Microsystems, in 1992. Bob was assigned to manage our company Exabyte as one of Suns suppliers. Bob was One of the most dedicated, hardworking and focused people I have ever met. He was a mentor and became a close friend. I trusted and admired Bob as if he was my own brother and will surely miss our many conversations. I am fortunate to have known him and will never forget our time...
