Not sure what to say?

Robert singletary was my 8th grade teacher in 1991.( I believe it was 1991 if I'm doing my math right) I love how he ran the class as a coach and guided us down a path to understand algebra in a way most teachers weren't able to do which gave me a great platform to get all the way calculus three and pass with a grade around 95% ( give or take a few points). I always gave him credit for giving me that mathematical platform to help me succeed in life. I am truly sorry to hear of his loss. I was...

While watching a mathematics show tonight, I thought of My 8th grade math teacher from 31 years ago.

I graduated from Robinson high school in 1992, it is now 2018, and I still remember the best teacher of my life.

He made us do push ups, dressed better than most ceo's, and had a heart of gold. I had. I idea that he passed away, I thought that tough cookie would last forever: I now miss him.

RIP Mr. Sing

Bobby,

For all those times you stood by me
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life
For all the wrong that you made right
For every dream you made come true
For all the love I found in you
I'll be forever thankful Bobby
You're the one who held me up
Never let me fall
You're the one who saw me through, through it all

You were my strength when I was weak
You were my voice when I couldn't...

Dear family of Bob Singletary,
Bob and I taught together at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax. He was an eighth grade teacher of mathematics and I was a seventh grade teacher of mathematics. We took several teacher training classes together; one of which was called "Project TIME". We worked with another teacher, Peggy Fink, for about two years on the project. The picture you used in the order of worship for his funeral of the two women flanking Bob was taken during "Project TIME". ...

I will always remember you

My heart goes out to the Singletary family during your time of loss. Bobby was truly loved by all of us. We met only six years ago but he managed to teach me things that I will use for a lifetime. He was like a father to many. I know he will countinue to watch over us all.

You are in God hands now Mr. Singletary. May you rest in PEACE. Thank you for your kindness!

Ms. Scott

Bobby, you will be missed, from your "cup" to your "yell". Love you! Watch over us :-)
He was very much like a father and always there to make you smile.

Bobby was a good person, and he will truly be missed. I am glad to have known Bobby. May God give his family strength in this time of mourning.
