One of the finest men I have ever known, or would aspire to meet. A joy, a challenge, an example of His Savior, always an inspiration to everyone he met - which will continue every time I remember Mr. Singleton - Lin´s dad.

Our sympathies and prayers are with you Dokie and family. You'll never know how much Bob meant to me both as a fellow musician, confidante, and generously benevolent employer. Our most treasured memories of Miami include the both of you.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful man.
Dokie, I can only say that I understand your immense pain right now.
Ray respected Bob so much and I will miss his wonderful smile and sense of humor. It was such a joy to watch him play his trumpet at Old Cutler. Now he and Ray are sitting at the feet of Jesus and laughing and they are pain free.
May God grant you His peace and comfort you through this time.

Bob Singleton was a perfect gentleman. A class act in the office, Board Room, and in his personal life.
He was a fellow Florida Gator. I was the Chief Financial Officer of The Miami Herald and fellow accountant. We worked together on several projects. Bob maintained the financial records the proper way, the right way. He showed me many courtesies and kindnesses over the 23 years at Knight Ridder. I write this with a heavy heart today. He will be missed.
Dokie, Mike...
