Not sure what to say?

May his good works be remembered.

A hard worker always thinking of the needs of others. He will be remembered by his family, Friends, many others and I´m sure by our heavenly father also.

DR. ROYCE SISTRUNK WILL ALWAYS HOLD A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART AS I WORKED CLOSELY IN LABOR & DELIVERY AS AN RN WITH HIM FOR YEARS BEFORE HIS RETIREMENT FROM RIVER PARISHES HOSPITAL IN LAPLACE. DR. ROYCE DELIVERED MY THIRD CHILD ON DR. SISTRUNK'S OWN BIRTHDAY IN SEPTEMBER 2001-MY SON IS NOW 14. A DEAR FRIEND, DEVOTED DOCTOR, DEDICATED COLLEAUGUE,AND A WONDERFUL FAMILY MAN WHO LOVED LIFE, THE LORD, HIS FAMILY AND HIS PATIENTS. I REMEMBER AFTER MY SON WAS BORN THAT DAY, DR. ROYCE WENT HOME TO...

I love Dr. Royce Sistrunk and always will! I am so sorry to hear of his passing but so thankful to know he is with the Lord...we will miss his wonderful servant heart and service to so many! :)

My heart goes out to the sistrunk family he was my dr and friend sonde o was 16 I was his pt at baptist and he delivered my baby girl 1967 who now is 49 and has twins 21 years old. The outstanding care that dr sistrunk has given to me I will always hold in my heart. I was with him till the day he retired from w hospital in Laplace.and the tears just came pouring from my eyes ,his sweet nurse said don't worry Cheryl this has been going on all day .i will say that I have and will never find...

Phil 1:3. I have thanked God every time I have thought of Dr Sistrunk since the first day I met him at Baptist Hospital in 1965/66. I know I speak for every nursing student who had the honor of learning from him; he was a wonderful teacher and remarkable physician. I also had the privilege of knowing him as a fellow church member at First Baptist Church New Orleans. He was a good and faithful servant to the Church and to his Lord. All were blessed who had the good fortune of knowing him....

Dr. Sistrunk was my doctor and a family friend. He was generous, caring and so vibrant. His huge smile would make you feel better as soon as you caught a glimpse. I will miss him as will my family.

Condolences to the family. The faithful in Christ do not die.

My sympathy to the Sistrunk family.
