Not sure what to say?

Even though I was an Animal Sciences major, Dr. Skirvin is always who I name as my favorite professor. He was awesome! I was unexpectedly pregnant while I was taking his class. He always asked how I was doing. Then, my son and I would go to the Mom's Day Flower Show to see him. I remember the last time we went, my sone was like 13 or 14 years old, and Dr. Skirvin asked how the baby was. We all had a good laugh. I couldn't believe after all that time, he still remembered! He was great...

He was the very best brother anyone could want or have. I loved him much. I know he will be by my side till it´s my time to join him

So sorry for your loss. As a secretary in Mumford Hall he invited me to his apple class where we tasted a variety of apples. I never bought any kind of apple but delicious, but after finding out there were more varieties, I've never bought a delicious apple since. Thank you Bob Skirvin. You were one of a kind and loved in the College of ACES!

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful teacher who enthusiastically shared his deep knowledge with his students. He was also just a great guy to hang out with. He positively impacted my life and I'll always be grateful.

Although I met him as a student in agriculture at the University in the 70s, my memory is of an apple tasting event my daughter's girl scout troop attended many years later. He made it so entertaining for the girls (and for the leaders and the college students) I've never forgotten it

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Bob on a WILL trip to England. We learned so much about plants and gardens from him. He and Margie kept us laughing and smiling the whole time. We were the back of the bus people that probably drove Victor (the tour guide) crazy. I always hoped that another garden tour would come up and we would just happen to travel with Bob again.
