Not sure what to say?

I knew Bob when he was HR Director at Suburban Hospital. He was outgoing and a friend to everyone. His death is a loss to everyone who knew and worked with him. Please accept my sincere sympathies.

Thank you to all for your kind words and memories of Bob. It means so very much to me that you have taken the time to share.

He will forever be in our hearts.

Love,

Janet Skoda
Mrs. Robert A. Skoda

Bob and I worked together at OPH and Synergon...I am shocked to hear of his passing, and so so saddened...I loved that guy!!! He'd come into my office and would say "Len, need just five minutes." Two hours later we were still talking and never did cover what he came to see me about. He was the best HR guy I ever met. He got me into fly fishing and taught me how to cast. One year I asked him how much he fished...he said he fished over 220 days ...said he couldn't drive over a bridge...

I was so sorry to hear about Bob's death. I knew him when we both worked at Oak Park Hospital and Synergon. He was unfailingly kind and caring, and I remember many very long philosophical discussions with him. Although our contact was lessened when our work lives took different paths, he was often in my thoughts as one of the most honorable people I knew. He will always remain that way in my heart and mind. My condolences to his family. He will be sorely missed.

I wish to express my sympathies to the family of Bob Skoda. I worked with Bob when he was the Director of Personnel at Suburban Hospital, Hinsdale. Bob did a good job and we all loved him. God bless the memory of Bob Skoda.

Robert R. Briney, M.D.

Beginning in the fall of 1976, I was privileged to have been hired by Bob to work as his HR Assistant at Suburban Hospital on County Line Road in Hinsdale. We worked together for over ten years and I found him to be a caring and supportive boss, mentor and friend. He was extremely generous in sharing his knowledge and not a day went by that I did not learn from him. Our families became close friends and still are to this day. He has left the best of himself in his sons and he will always...

Jan,
I was sorry to get Carrie's message about Bob's passing. I was out of town. Hope your family is coping.
Sincerely,
Cindy Groves

I remember 1973 and the particular day I met Bob like it was yesterday. I hired Bob in his first personnel job. Although I was looking for someone seasoned and experienced, Bob won me over in the first interview because of his passion, intellect, and enthusiasm to change the world and especially the workplace. His ideas were always ahead of the times, and he never let an idea lapse easily...he would go out one door and in the next door to re-present and reposition his idea...always with...

I was so sorry to hear about Bob. He was very kind to me when I worked at The Association for Individual Development. I know that he will be missed!
