Robert C. Slabaugh

Robert C. Slabaugh, age 72, formerly of Nappanee, passed away on Fri. Oct. 2, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling. He was born on March 17, 1943 in Elkhart.

He is survived by a son, Charles (Tammy) Slabaugh of Nappanee, granddaughter Mia Slabaugh; his companion of over 25 years, Sandy Cowden, her son, Thomas (Michelle) Cowden, her grandsons, Seth and Thomas Cowden, 3 step-grandchildren, Chase Heckaman, Mackenzie Etsinger, and Jordan Campbell, and a brother-in-law, Jerry Honeycutt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lulu Slabaugh, a brother, Patrick Bartell, and a sister, Susan Honeycutt.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at Union Center Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
