Not sure what to say?

The Slade Family,

In Sympathy and Friendship, please remember, in your sorrow, you have many friends who care. You're someone very special and you're thought about in prayer.

I was a student at Mitchell while Mr. Slade worked there. All though I didn't know him too well, he was always my favorite hall monitor, and by far the coolest. He was always nice and caring. I remember he would loan students money at lunch if they didn't have any. He'll be missed.

I am so sorry about the Slade's familys loss. Even though I didn't know Mr.Slade personally, I can still feel how much you guys are hurting right now. Mr. Slade was a great person. He cared about everyone who he saw walking down the streets. One of my favorite memories with Mr. Slade was when I just started 7th grade and he was one of the lunch monitors and I could NOT wait until lunch just so I could see Mr. Slade. He called me "bestfriend with the pretty hair" i'll never forget that. My...

Dear Slade Family,

I am out of town on business and just heard about your loss. I am very sorry.
Mr. Slade was a great man and was kind enough to share his time with all three of my children.I want to thank you all for allowing him to share time with them. Please know that he was the kindest and most caring person I have ever known and I am grateful that my children had the honor of knowing Mr. Slade. I know that all of my children are better people because of their...

My daughter always talked about the lollipops Mr Slade would sneak to his favorite students (which was all of them!) she said it was rare that she went a day without getting a huge smile and one of those suckers. I know how much Mr Slade will be missed not by just the staff but from the students he touched in the many years there at Mitchell. I know he was proud of the musical talents of his grandsons too. Having both a son and daughter in CHS marching band and Mitchell's band with one of...

Dear Slade family, I was a student at W.E. Mitchell Middle School last year where Mr. Slade worked. He was the coolest person I had ever met. I knew him through seeing him around campus, talking to him, and sitting in his lunch detention class. I was in tears when I heard he passed on. I know he will be going to where he belongs, to Heaven, with the Lord, where he can be forever happy.

Although I did not know him very well personally, I was saddened to read the news of Mr. Slade's passing. I was a student at W.E. Mitchell junior high for the past three years where Mr. Slade worked. He was a very kind man and I repected him very much.

May he rest in peace.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Slade family,
My daughter, Callie Paschall, is a Junior at Cordova High School. Callie was in tears all day yesterday upon hearing of Mr. Slades passing. He had a profound effect on her life through out the years. Last night, she cried while righting a tribute to Mr. Slade on her MySpace page. Last year, Callie was so excited about purchasing and giving Mr. Slade the Temptations CD. He always made her smile and would take the time to talk to her through out her day at school. ...
