Not sure what to say?

Sharon,

Gary and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy during this difficult time. Bob was such a fun loving person and we always enjoyed getting caught up with both of you at the club. I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Sharon,

Bob called me one day while I was working in Davenport and offered me the job of running the chemicals business in Europe. I replied that I didn't know a thing about chemicals, having been in metals my whole career. He said we want you for your international and management capabilities. I accepted; and started 10 years of exciting and rewarding times. It was a pleasure to work for such a gentleman.

Bob first worked on the 17th floor of the Alcoa Building. Our Math Services Group was also on that floor. We were utilizing computers (the very early days of computers) to do mathematical modeling. Although Bob was not in our group, he was curious and sought out what we were doing. It was evident that Bob had the intelligence and personality to go far with Alcoa and he certainly did.
I am sorry for your loss.

Bob started working on the 17th floor of thr Alcoa Building. Our Math Services Group was also on that floor. We were using computers (very early days of computers) to do mathematical modeling. Bob was curious and interested in what we were doing. It was clear even then that Bob's intelligence, friendliness, and personality would take him a long way with Alcoa.
Sorry for your loss,
Dick Wehling

Sharon,
So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I will always remember the trip Bob and I made to Florida to visit with you and Bob and what a good time we had.
May you feel God's love and comfort surrounding you at this most difficult time.

To Sharon and family,
Bob was a professional of the first rank with whom I had the priviledge of working on four different continents. His talents and positive leadership skills were known and appreciatted by all of his colleagues at Alcoa. He will be sorely missed. Our most sincere condolences. Ginny and Dick Fischer

Sharon, Scott and Chris:

A more devoted, honorable, disciplined person, we will never know. So pleased to have known and worked with Bob for many years. We are so sorry for your (and our) loss.

Sincerely, Valerie, Bob and Robert Schultz

I had the honor of knowing Bob during the later part of my Alcoa career (1967 - 1996). I always felt that he was a true gentleman and one of Alcoa's best executives. He always had a warm smile and a hello when he met you. I will miss him.
