Robert Slate

Bob was a kind and gentle soul. I know he was so loved by his family and friends. We talked about where all his belongings would go. How he would see his loved ones again. Reminisced about the single dances, our singles bowling group, racing, friends and family. I miss talking with him, having him stop for dinner on his way to his new adventure. Miss you so much Bob

I did not know Bob had passed away. I wondered why he stopped calling. He used to visit in his big motor home. Was so proud of it. We bowled together on a singles bowling league. He was such a charmer at the singles dances.

Dear Family of Bob: Well, the last of the Slate children are now in a better place. The old days of watching Bob race, standing in the garage and watching him fix all the broken cars, quite handy he was!!! Will think of him when I see potato chips or Little Debbie snacks, his favorite donation to Christmas buffet. Hugs and kisses, love to all !!! God's peace and comfort to surround you, as our next generation carries on.
