Not sure what to say?

much belated but thinking about "joe Bob" he was my"yankee friend and more iam hius friend Billy and of course the "dummy" Groucho whi brought to games was a fun part iof my life

My sympathies go out to the Smith family. I'm only 45 minutes away, but seems like a world away, and I just received the news now. I last saw him in front of Pal Joey's before they relocated.

Bobby was around most of my life. He went to school with my mom Barbara.
I grew up knowing him as the pizza man, then he was my gym teacher at Sacred Heart. I saw him almost every day when I worked at Johnny's Pizzeria.
As everyone has already written, he was "The Mayor" of Forest ave. ...

To all who have written to honor our brother Bobby: Thanks for the memories. we know that you miss him as much as we do. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us it has helped the wound to start to heal.

To The Smith Family - My condoleneces on Bobby's passing away. My brothers and I used to hang out at 45 with him playing ball and getting life lessons from the "big" guy! He was there for all of us when my brother Jimmy died on Forest Ave in a hit and run in front of Blaine's. He was a true humanatarian and we are all better for having known him. God Bless!

So sorry to hear about your brother. I have such fond memories of your family and hate to see any of you grieve. I remember the baby pictures of all of you running up the wall of your staircase. It struck me as such a loving gesture. I hope that love buoys all of you through this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to the Smith family and those that share in the sadness of his passing.
I first met Bobby in a group of 4 or 5 kids, two of whom were my older brothers by seven years and who were Bobby's friends. I had to tag along with these much older kids ( I was about 7 or 8 ) because my mother had made them take me, the '' little runt ", along with them to the library.
At the SW corner of N. Burgher and Castleton Avenues at dusk, after all of us having just been '...

Christopher , Nancy and I express most sincere sympathies to Bobby's brothers and sisters .
Living next door to the Smith family for over 30 year was amazing , someone was always there with a helping hand . Very special people .

Thank you Bobby for being there when we really needed you. Rest in peace in the Lord.

I am certain that the Angels have opened their arms to you. I will always be grateful that you picked me up in the Pal Joey truck from Bellevue anesthesia school and took me home after Betsy died. i will always remember your kind heart.

From the Clipper to the George Washington Bridge, I will always love and miss you..
Sending my deepest sympathy to your brothers and sister, nieces and nephews.

Love, Bonnie and Jim
