Not sure what to say?

Bob will certainly be missed. Through him we also got to know Gail and Brian. We love you all.

Bob helped me out with generous information and time on several occasions and I was always impressed with his love of helping others.

I want to send my deepest condolences to Bob's family. The excitement knowing "Bob Smith" was going to be at a Grand Banks rendezvous or Trawlerfest up here in the Pacific Northwest excited everyone! His passion for the engine which is the heart of our boats was amazing to see..he actually "laid his hands" on our 32 GB engine at one time and could tell us exactly what was wrong with it and being new with the engine he made us feel so much comfortable with it and we learned so much more over...

Bob will be missed in the Grand Banks community. Always generous with his time and knowledge of Ford Lehman diesels, he was a legend amongst us owners of the old red engines. The education he provided at our rendezvous each year will be sorely missed. I loved his tongue in cheek humor and patience he had with us asking the same questions year after year and always answering them as if they were never asked before.

Rest in Peace Bob, and our sincere condolences to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to Gail and all of Bobs family. Bob and his expertise will be greatly missed.

Very much enjoyed knowing Bob and appreciated his knowledge.

Gail, Wendy, Brian and families, my brother Robert Jr. and I send our deepest sympathies on the passing of Bob. I remember our family get together and visits to Sands Point, not sure if it was Bobs boat there that we went out on, but I do remember hearing about his love for boats. We are sorry to hear the news and you are all in our prayers.
