So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonder of knowledge and I enjoyed the few visits I got to see him and listen to the history of the Smith and Boody family. Enjoy the beauty of the Heavens cousin.

I knew Bob from the fish hatchery days. He was a nice , gentle man with a passion for history. I am sorry to hear of his passing! Rest In Peace sir.

We knew him as "Smitty" up here on the hill. He was such a sweet man, always so thoughtful...he will be missed, for sure :(

Although Bob was my cousin we didn't really get to know each other until young adulthood. One early memory was watching one of his interesting and informative slide shows on the early days of logging in the Adirondacks. Then seeing his collection of Linn tractors on Boody Hill. These were surrounded by the beautiful flowerbeds he created with his nuclear gardening system. Bob's love of history and nature came through in all he did. I worked with Bob from 1980 to 1990 at the hatchery. A bit eccentric but he was a fun person .
