Not sure what to say?

mr. sobieski was one of the finest teachers i ever had (i had him for 7th grade science in 1986 at heritage). i especially appreciated the way he dealt with whining students-- he would rub 2 fingers together and say, "this is the tiniest violin in the world playing 'my heart goes out to you.'" he was brilliant and funny and pushed us to be better than we were.

i remember the egg balancing experiment too -- now i try to do the same on the first day of spring.

Hi.

Mr Sobieski was my 7th grade homeroom teacher and science teacher back in the late 70s at heritage middle schooll in Livingston. He was very welcoming and supportive to all students. I am saddened to hear of his passing but very thankful to have met such a kind man who will always be remembered by many. Blessings to his family and friends.

Mr. Sobieski was my homeroom and science teacher in the 80's and I still have very fond memories of him. He made science fun and really cared about us kids!

He was a great man, a great teacher and just a nice, kind human being. To this...

We are deeply saddened by Bob's passing. He always had a smile and positive words for those touchy times in the guidance office. He will be remembered as a true "Son of Heritage".
I can't forget his favorite retort to negativity was, "Easy for you to say". But it's not easy to say goodbye.
