We are so sadden to hear of Bob's passing. He and Jean were our lovely neighbors on Howell Road in Bethesda during our four-year stay in DC, always caring and considerate, inviting us for dinners and get-togethers with stimulating talks on economics and politics. We could not have wished for any better friends; Bob was a warm man, always interested in others. We will miss him.

We are so saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. Phil and I were very fond of him and have wonderful memories including Bobby giving a seminar just a view years ago in the Department of Economics at University of Miami, at Phil's request, Phil and Bobby playing tennis on the Cape when Bobby was 85 and Bobby hosting Phil, Jason and I for lunch at his "club" in WDC when Jason was just 15.
