Those of us in the bankruptcy community will always remember Bob as a brilliant lawyer and judge, a creative, razor-sharp and unflappable litigator and a compassionate, generous man. Bob Somma was very simply one of the most positive people I've ever known. At Holy Cross, if I saw him on campus, I'd be sure to connect with him because I knew I'd feel better after a few minutes with Bob. He never had a negative word or complaint about anyone or anything. On a scale of 1 to 10 in friendliness and positivity, Bob was an 11. What a loss to us all.
