Not sure what to say?

All of us here in the Ojai Pixie Growers Association send our sympahy and best wishes to the family of Bob Soost. Our little group of growers (see: http://www.ojaipixies.com/) would not exist if Dr. Soost had not released this variety in 1965.
We are in his debt and give thanks for his many years of service to the citrus growers of California.

I send my best wishes to the family from UC Riverside. I have a couple of questions asked about Dr. Soost by a Los Angeles Times reporter. Would you be able to contact me to answer them? I'm at [email protected]
Thanks, Kris

I am very sorry to hear about Bob's death. He was the chair of my search committee when I was hired in 1978 into the Botany and Plant Sciences Dept.I admired him greatly as a scientist and colleague.

Bob was a neat guy with a good dry sense of humor.  He and Jim Cameron and Jim Lesley were a great trio.  They were the kind of people that helped make a new faculty member feel welcome. All the best to you Jean, Lowell Lewis

My mother and I like Bob who was very kind to both of us. I know my mother would would tell Jean how sorry to hear that Bob was not with us anymore. Best wishes to Jean and the family.

Love Irene and Paul

So Sorry to hear about your loss. I have many happy memories of the Soost family.
