Dear Stachura Family,
We were shocked and saddened by Rob's sudden death. We both have known Rob since his NIU days. We were his teachers and mentors. I was Rob's student teaching supervisor and we attended his wedding. Rob babysat my daughter...he was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Stachura Family and Kathy,
I am so grateful to have known Rob as an educator and a friend and as a loving, caring principal for my sons. He made wherever he was a better place by his humor, kindness and tireless energy. When he left Westchester, there was a void that we knew would never be filled. He was so nervous to go to Geneva, but he knew that it was the right move and he came to love it. He touched so many lives in many different ways. His friends knew of his closeness to his family and could hear and see the love for you in his stories. I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss that is felt by so many people. The world is a much better place for having Rob in it.

Rob will be greatly missed. I worked for Rob in Westchester, and shortly after moved to Geneva. I will never forget when he was at Timberlee outdoor education(with Geneva) and waited a few hours for the Westchester kids just to say hello.
