WILKES-BARRE — Robert (Bob) J. Stack, 67, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully at his home in London, England, on Dec. 2, 2017, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was the son of the late Walter and Bernadine (Wayda) Stack.

Bob was a childhood friend. We all hung out with the neighborhood kids. Played baseball, neighborhood track events, camped along the Susquehanna River and fished Tamarrack, Valley Dam, Overflow at Kirby Park pond, Crystal Lake in Bear Creek to Just name a few. . We also were Altar Boys together and in the Holy Name at St Francis Church. Bob is gone but not forgotten. Nancy and Jean so sorry for your loss. May God give you the strength during this difficult time. Do all of this in Jesus...

When I think of Bob I recall aGentleman in every positive sense of that term. A brilliant student and internationally acclaimed business professional. But also a super athlete in his youth and seeing him at our 40 reunion 9 yrs ago, he looked like age had bypassed him. I never heard Bob utter a bad word toward or about anyone. And, Bob spoke so proudly and joyfully of his family at our reunion...his beautiful wife and his children. So sad to learn of Bob's passing while, for him, still...

So sorry to hear of Bobs passing. He was a fierce competitor on the track team.

Yes, a shining star from our Coughlin Class of '68. He was a success in business but more so in his family life with Felicity and his children. We will miss him and send our condolances to his family.
