Robert L. Stasny

Bob designed our home in Bremerton in the early 80's. His design was exactly what we wanted, to the smallest detail. We met with him about a year ago re: the possibility of designing another home for us. We attempted to contact him & were shocked & saddened to see his obituary. His good nature, mischievousness, & excellent talent made him very special to us. RIP, Bob. Ginger Robertson & Chuck Salmon

We were deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He will always be remembered for his cherished smile and mischievous sense of humor. As the first base coach for Charley's baseball team in grade school he always made the boys feel that playing the game was important but it was also equally important to have fun and smile at the same time.

Since first meeting Bob in 1986 as Property manager and real estate advisor for some of Bob's clients, I was always impressed with his creative solutions, attention to detail,and his infectuious humor. Bob's youthful enthusiam was a paradox to his wisdom. I will miss him.

Bob's talents were fully appreciated when he worked for my architectural firm in Seattle. He was a great model maker with an excellent attention for detail and could execute architectural drawings that would put computer drafters to shame.

I was saddened by the news of Roberts passing yesterday. He was a friend and business collegue and he leaves a legacy of being the architect of many buildings that have helped redefine Seattle's Sodo neighborhood. More importantly he was a decent human being who left a positive impact on the lives of those he touched. I will miss him and I send my condolences to his family.

As a beneficiary of Bob's architectural talents it was with great sadness I learned of his passing. His calm nature was a pleasure to deal with in the construction realm. My thoughts and prayers are with the family he loved so much. Heaven has gained a genuinely kind soul.

I will always remember Bob as a creatively talented and generous man whose exceptionally offbeat sense of humor helped not only him but all of us who knew him deal with any situation. It's sad to learn of his passing, but he certainly wouldn't want any of us moping about it. If there's anyone who's gotten away with being "three days dead before the Devil notices he's gone", it's him.

I am so saddened by hearing the nears of Roberts passing. I worked with him years ago and remember him as a great guy who was so proud of his children. My thoughts go out to his family.
