Not sure what to say?

Bob had a full life. A very nice man. Glad to know him. He will be well missed.

Papa Bob. Although we´ve never met in person, I feel I know you through your daughter Trudy and her sharing of your love for our SCHS class of 1963, and the prayers we have given for you and the prayers given back from you for sure! Your life as described in your obituary is certainly amazing and praiseworthy. You did it all and then some, and you have already received your just reward for a life well lived. Paul and Nancy Carew

Bob was a kind and gentle man whose sharp intellect and his love of reading along with his affection for his dogs brought him pleasure throughout his life. He was an inspiration for how to age with grace. His love for his daughter was apparent to everyone who knew him. I feel privileged to have known him. We´ll miss you, Bob!

Trudy, sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Alice and Rick Farina

I worked at Barnes Engineering and EDO/Barnes in Shelton with Bob. He was a great engineer who was willing to go the extra mile to solve problems / help others. He also had a great smile that help keep everyone calm during a work crisis, it was one of his most important contributions to making the workplace a creative environment. I am sure he was earned his wings. May he rest in peace in the heavens above. Maybe he will bump into one of the many satellites he worked on.

These young men of our "Greatest Generation" were the bravest of the brave. There are many who owe their freedom to them. Thank you for serving our country and protecting us.

Dear Trudy and Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of this amazing individual you were fortunate to call your Father. (I remember you well from Stamford Catholic High School.) Blessings to your family... Sincerely,
