Robert Virgil Stender

Bob Stender was a great man, he was like another father to me. I followed the Stender family on adventures all over the state, houseboating on the delta, sailing on Tomales Bay, or helping with the vending machines. Bob was the hardest working man I knew. He was the dad I grew up trying to become. He always had a smile, and always had room for one more kid on every outing. He was great fun to be around, he enjoyed life, and made life more enjoyable for everyone around him. I will miss you...

Bob was the best. He was great to work for and be around as family friend, I will miss him, the world will miss him.
