Sonnie and family,

It was with deep regret that we received Sonnie's email about Basic Bob's motorcycle accident. There will never be another Basic, as everyone knows. We really enjoyed his visits to Rickety Acres through the years since we purchased it 17-1/2 years ago. We still enjoy his CD of poems. You and Bob were such fun when we visited you in Sedona. Loved going out to lunch, the jeep ride on Broken Arrow and the humming birds taking a shower. Love you, stay in touch. ...

Sonnie, Jeff, and all... My heart aches with you in your loss. It's been many years since I've seen Bob's big ol' grin, but I will remember it always. I'll forever cherish the nickname he gave me 35 years ago: "Too Tall".
I can still hear his greeting, "Hey, Too Tall, how the heck are ya?!"
Still makes me smile...

May you find strength and peace to carry you through the days ahead, and God's abundant grace for comfort.

Fondly ~ "Too Tall".

So sorry to hear my friend has passed. Been missing Basic Bob since he moved out of MIchigan. He was a generous man. I will never forget the two wheeled adventures he invited me on. He never made me feel bad about riding a rice-burner, and let me ride his Trooper-Glide through the canyons of Sedona when I was visiting. My thoughts are with Sonnie, Jeff, Todd and the family.

My condolences to Bob's family. I knew Bob & his brothers for many years way back in the 1950's. Talked a lot about cars and guns. Bob was always pleasant and fun to be around. Never a dull moment when I was with him.
Rest in peace Bob.
