Not sure what to say?

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting your father when I bought the house in Washington. He was such a character! Very generous and quite colorful! In my kitchen I have the growth chart for Adam, Samantha and Megan from Sept 1990 to Janu 2002. I haven't painted over the measurements. They add history and a sense of family to the home. I'm going to miss his unique and irreverent views of politics. I wish I could have watched him hold court at the local pub.

Sam and Jim

My deepest condolences for the loss of your father. He was unique among the interesting characters that shaped our lives growing up in Wenonah. I was always grateful for the discussions, political and otherwise, and also appreciative of his guidance and support. He will be missed.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Jim and Family,

We are very sorry to lose Bob. He was a friend to all of us in the Sturgis History department and we'll be forever thankful for his contributions to our students.

I'll always remember him guessing the exact number of electoral votes won by President Obama at our Election Party!

What a great American and example to us all. He will be missed.

Jim and family,my wife and I are so sorry for the loss of your Dad. The brief amount of time we were able to spend with him were enough to realize the kind of person he was. I will always remember how much we enjoyed seeing him at the Harbor Hawks games. He had a sweet disposition and a wonderful sense of humor. The world was a better place with him in it. God Bless you all.
