Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bob when he was the Chief Engineer at WCET in Cincinnati. Later, Bob moved to WVIZ in Cleveland and I was running TV at Xavier University. Bob passed along some older equipment to us at XU from the WVIZ archives. Many years later, I started a company that was a dealer for GVG and several times, I visited Bob in Grass Valley while on trips to GVG. He was a great mentor to a young engineer just entering the business.

Bob & Kay were wonderful to Mike Schatz, my husband, Bob & Kay appreciated Mikes business sense. Kay always had a sweet word for Mike. Our lives were touched & changed by Bob. A moment in time- I had a chance to drop Bob off from the 3- of us having lunch. Was able to give him a hug & thank him for EVERYTHING! May Bob & Kay lay in the arms of Angels. Together again.

He lived a long happy life. I´m sorry for your loss

I have very fond memories of Bob, I did work at Grass Valley Group the same time. Bob was a memorable guy, his personality and humor was enjoyed and appreciated. Really nice guy to have known. RIP Bob!

I worked with him at The Group, and I adored him. We played pinochle at lunch and laughed a lot. Kay came along later, and she was wonderful. Both Bob and Kay were just nice people. I remember Bob storming into the office after two weeks overseas somewhere (Japan?), throwing his stuff on his desk and announcing that he was going after some "real food" and he´d be back. He was a good guy...

I enjoyed working with Bob in the early years of Grass Valley Group. A really nice Engineer with a good sense of humor. My condolences to his family.
