Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Bob passing, I met Bob around 1970 we work together at Daughterty & Twigg real estate. At one point I was going to quit the business and Bob encouraged me to try another company before I walked away from the career. I did try another Real estate company and I´ve been a realtor for 53 years, thanks Bob for encouraging me when I needed it! Andrew Fisher

Cynthia, sorry to hear of your loss. Keep the happy moments and memories close to your heart and he will always be worth you.

Bob, I am just now hearing of your passing this 26th day of September 2018. I am certainly glad to have met you and Maggie on the Amtrak ride across the United States in 1993! What a hilarious ride that was. Thank you for welcoming me into your home in subsequent years and giving me the Grand tour of the newly opened Harrisburg Civil War museum. It was a joy and an honor to have met you. I feel like laughing out loud for old times sake!

I thought of something else that was very special about Uncle Bob. When my 3-year-old daughter was diagnosed with autism, many people simply ignored us. Not Uncle Bob. He said, "Hey, I hear you're having problems with your little girl." He couldn't offer any advice, but he let me talk. Uncle Bob was a real mensch.

Uncle Bob was my favorite uncle! Always a smile on his face and a desire to make people feel better. I remember as a kid visiting him and I fell and scraped my arm. Uncle Bob said, hey, how cool. You'll be able to tell people, look at this scar I got while visiting Bob's place.

Dear Stine Family:

So sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers.

Bob was such a wonderful human being who always made me smile. My thoughts are with you all.
