Not sure what to say?

My wife and I were patients of Dr. Stokes for almost 30 years. He was always available to us. His care and concern for our welfare were always appreciated. We last visited with Dr. Stokes in December 2015. We had heard of his ailment and told him that there was at least one family who loved him and was praying for him. He got a puzzled look on his face and said, "Who is that?" When I indicated to my wife and me, he got a surprised look on his face and teared up. He stepped around his...

Dr. Stokes was our family doctor for decades. We learned only today he is gone. We have been retired in Soutth TX., and are returning to K.C. and family. We shall miss his kindness and sense of humor. With sympathy and sadness, Charles and Shirley Rickett.

Dr Stokes was my family doctor, when my wife had a heart attack at 3:00 am , he was at the hospital at 4:15 to attend to her. Unfortunately she passed, but he did everything he could. A really great man

I can´t believe another year has come and gone...you were such a gentleman, and had such compassion for your patients...hoping more physicians are like you!!

Can´t believe it has been 6 years already...I think if your hard work and dedication to your patients often. You truly were a gentleman amongst gentlemen...miss you Dr Stokes

Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your amazing husband and friend. I so enjoyed knowing and working with Robert. Our prayers for comfort are with you all.

You have not been forgotten, Dr. Stokes. How could you be? I still haven't found a doctor that even comes close to who you were.

Still seems like yesterday that I received the phone call that Dr Stokes was no longer with us...I was in shock then, and can´t believe that it has been 5 years that he has been gone. In my business life every day, there are memories of Dr Stokes, and they are very fond memories of what and how he would do stuff. He was such a gentle man and a pleasure to work for, such a caring individual...he will forever be missed

I still miss Dr. Stokes. When we lost him, we lost an excellent doctor who also felt like a good friend....probably because my family and I had been under his care for many years. I can't imagine the great loss his wife and family must feel. If there is a heaven, I know that he is there. Please pray for all of us, Dr. Stokes.
