Dear Peggy and the rest of the Stringers,
Our family has been blessed with the laughter, the joy and all the gifts of the deep and lasting friendship between our parents. Bob's presence, ever-welcoming wisecracks and deep support given our mother and family through all these years will forever be cherished.

Thank you, Stringer Family!
Mike and Family,
We have always spent a part of each Memorial Day at Ft Snelling...we are blessed, in a way, to have such a local memorial to those who have sacrificed so much for us.
Our family has not known, directly or indirectly, any individual rested here, until now. We will now know that your dad is here. Thank you.
Sometimes, nowadays, you wonder what kids are thinking!?!? In this setting, because of your sacrifice, our kids get it…

Dear Stringer Family,
I will always remember Mr Stringer for his deep raspy voice and his dry sense of humor. He was a great friend and companion to my father. They went to the "Academy" reunion last year and were the only ones representing their class. Thankfully they share tables with the younger classmates. I was also fortunate to call the Stringers my Godparents. He will be missed dearly. Thank you for your goodness on earth and you have such lovely company in heaven.
Love to all...

Dear Megan, Shannon, Ann, Steve, Peg, and all the Stringer Clan,
We are so sad to hear about your loss. Your grandpa/dad/husband was a very special man, we know you will miss him a lot. We will always remember his and your grandma's generosity to us when we came to town to say goodbye to our dad/grandpa...your Grandpa Dick. They gave us their home for a week!
We love you,

Dear Mrs. Stringer, Tom, Mary Beth, Kaye, Anne, and Mike,
There is no doubt in my mind that my dad and your dad are having a scotch together! I can literally see them laughing together about something. I just loved your dad. He always reminded me of Barnie Fifh on the Andy Griffith show. He always made me laugh. Peg, you were such a wonderful friend to my parents. I have great memories of our familys' get togethers. I always looked for what you made at the buffet table because you...
